A PCT museum?

[From Dick Robertson, 2007.04.04.1736CDT]

Is anybody collecting historical PCT materials, or
starting a PCT museum? I ask because I need to thin
out some of my oldest (hard) files. I have 1991 -
1994 issues of Greg Williams's "Closed Loop: journal
of living control systems," and a lot of reports and
papers from the earliest days' Haimowoods
conferences. There is some good stuff there, but I
don't have room to keep it anymore.

Any takers?

Best,

Dick R.

Dick, I have the complete Closed Loops and have reproduced several. But the other early materials should certainly be preserved. Since Greg Williams has not been active lately (though he is still THE CSG archivist) I, as self-appointed deputy archivist, will certainly volunteer to safekeep, review and eventualy post/publish some of the early materials.

Best, Dag

Thanks Dag,

I'll donate the Closed loops to our local library
and hang onto the Haimowoods meetings documents for
a while longer. I hope we (somebody) can find a
place for them if the society wants to preserve them.

Best,

Dick

Yes, I have the scroll and scepter given to me as first president of the CSG.

I sure wish people would start sending in registrations for the 2007
meeting in Mpls, by the way. It would be nice to know that I'm not the
only one who will be there;-)
