An Odd Thought

I was reflecting (only for a moment, I assure you,) on the
amount, persistence, and intensity of the "sniping" (for
lack of better term--although "pissing contest" does come
to mind) that occurs on this list. Some of the posts are
downright belligerent, many are nasty and spiteful, and
almost all carry a tone I would label as "snide." So, I
wondered, how does PCT explain that?

Tell me, experts in that area, is it possible to have a
reference condition that calls for a lot of disturbances?
In short, a CV that might be defined as the presence of
disturbances to other CVs (kind of like the guy who likes
to go driving on really windy days in areas where knows
there are lots of state troopers operating speed traps).

Just an odd thought...

How about this: people control what they _perceive_, not how
they _act_ in order to perceive it (that's _all_ people, of
course, myself included).
