Application/distortion of PCT

[From Dag Forssell (2010.02.18.1645 PST)]

Today, my Google Alert for "Perceptual Control Theory" yielded this
presentation on the Internet: http://uxtraordinary.com/ux.html

At first I clicked on the bullet to watch the slides. Quotes have
been lifted from what I think are my writings. Author is Alex O'Neal,
located in Texas and Seattle. Found her resume:
http://alexfiles.com/work/oneal_uexpert.pdf.

The site amounts to a "YouTube" file sharing site for PPT slide
presentations and allows you to download the PPT file if you sign up.
I did, then converted the PPT to a pdf file. Attached.

Just goes to show that people will adopt the words of PCT, then
change statements pretty much at will. I find this a bit intriguing
as far as it goes.

I haven't read all the PCT stuff carefully yet but Alex looks like a
very interesting person -- worth getting in touch with -- and anyone
who would include Huxley's brilliant and moving letter on the death of
his son (http://alexfiles.com/huxley.shtml) at their site has some
serious brain cells going on.

I agree, but I am not the one to do it. Especially not right now.
