Artificial Minds

Here's a posting from the GA-List that might be of interest. I haven't
seen the book, and I don't remember it having been mentioned here.
Nor have I checked the Web pages mentioned, though I probably will do
so when I have a few moments (huh? Did I say that?).

I have this book, but haven't got around to reading it yet since there have
been so many interesting books published lately (including Dennett's
_Darwini's Dangerous Idea_, John Brockman's (ed.) _The Third Culture_,
Derek Bickerton's new book on language, etc., etc. I will try to take a
look soon and give a PCT evaluation.

I hope it is decent since it is advertised on the back cover of MY
book--that's what they do to you when you can't get lots of big-shot
endorsements to cover the back cover!--Gary
