[From Rick Marken (2000.07.10.1030)]

I recommend the following book for those of you who are
interested in macroeconomics in general and T. C. Powers'
analysis of the macro economy in particular:

Wall Street Capitalism: The Theory of the Bondholding Class
by
E. Ray Canterbery

It is available from Amazon at

[http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/9810238517/o/qid=962896748/sr=2-1/002-5273134-2511265](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/9810238517/o/qid=962896748/sr=2-1/002-5273134-2511265)

Canterbery, an economist with friends like J. K. Galbraith,
refers (very favorably) to T. C. Powers work. Canterbery
has his own name for leakage ("the angel's share") and may
have an explanation for where all that leaked money is going
(to stake the players at the Wall Street Casino).

Best

Rick
