Chapter 4 raises the subject of the hierarchy of control systems. I like the notion of a “multitude of control systems.” I thought a diagram would have helped.
Chapter 5 introduces the concept of “reorganization.” To me, that idea sort of breaks down at the highest level. I suspect it’s an area with a lot of work left to do.
Chapter 6 digs into the phenomenon of controlling other people and ourselves. I found this chapter very useful and I especially liked the way Rick and Tim stitched reinforcement into the fabric of PCT. The examples are very useful and the Fromm-Skinner example is quite illuminating. The explanation of “gain” was particularly helpful to me.
So far so good. The book is an easy read and the examples are easy to relate to.
