# Conference and APPNET

1995 CSG Conference

My son Chris and I found our first conference to be very worthwhile. We learned  
a lot. We enjoyed meeting all the other PCT zealots. We have been singing "I'm  
a Control Theory Man" ever since!

Separate Applications Net (CSGL2)

I would favor trying a separate net for applications. Make it available for a  
year. If it is valuable, keep it. If not, simply return to one net.

On our Compuserve system, we are not able to read specific topics of interest  
within a daily posting. I must read live or download the entire daily posting  
to find the morsel that helps me or to which I can contribute. We currenlty  
have a very slow modem. I plan to get a faster one for access to the WWW. This  
may make a single net more responsive to our needs. I am personally more  
focused on PCT application than on further theory research.
