Consciousness and Self-Reference and Misc.

[philip.3/25/15.1230]

Dear CSG,

How is it possible for someone to refer to themselves while doing something and say, “I am doing something”. If any given PCS never refers to itself, the concept of a self-referential statement doesn’t make sense. Such concerns also beleaguered mathematical logic. And other than in the conscious mind and in mathematical logic, another surfacing of the problem of self-reference can be found in the the immune system. I think these are interesting topics. And yet another major branch of miscellaneous stuff which intimately relates to PCT and its quasi-static analytic technique is catastrophy theory. I read the book on it, and I saw many interesting things.

I think there is much missing from PCT. In particular, a discussion of energy; we never discuss the perception of energy. I don’t know if/how/when we’re going to discuss these things - but once we do, I don’t think we’ll ever argue about anything again.

kind regards,

Philip
