RM: Good catch Matti! That’s one of the nice little “tells” that give away the fact that the person who is either praising or criticizing PCT doesn’t really know what PCT is about. Another “tell” is when people talk about the “control variable” (and you have good reason to believe that it’s not a typo). The missing “ed” after “control” makes all difference.
