# Doing Input with Output

Here’s a little [video](https://fb.watch/zHmgM8q1YL/) that demonstrates that behavior (what we are “doing”) is input (perception) done with output (action). It’s basically the same as Powers’ “hello” demo, where a person keeps a cursor on target using actions that trace out the word “hello”. In this case, the artist draws a portrait using actions that look nothing like the portrait. It’s kind of the inverse of Powers’ “hello” demo but it demonstrates the same thing: behavior is the control of perception.
