EAB conversions

When we're talking about changes in principles and system concepts, a 180
might be easier than a swerve. The same controlled perceptions, but with
a flip-flop of valuation on some of them -- poof! -- mirror world! I
think that's the sort of conversion experience that Bruce A. sees
possible with EAB folks. Stranger things have been known to happen.

Hey. I'm all for it. If Bruce A. can get the EAB people to convert to PCT
that would be great. I'm always hopeful that conventional psychologists can
"get" PCT but I don't get my hopes too high because I've been disappointed
too often. Heck, Bill Powers has been working on the EAB people since 1971
with no luck at all. I've tried to snap them out of their dogmatic slumbers
myself by showing that behavior cannot be correctly viewed as "selection by
consequences" (a fundamental tenet of EAB). If Bruce A. can bring them
around that would be great; but it would require a sea change in the way EAB
people go about their business. If, however, even one EAB person starts
studying how organisms control (instead of how they _are_ controlled) I will
be VERY pleased (and quite amazed).

Best
