Why can't it be an explanation.

It can. Anything can be proposed as an explanation. But, as you
perceive, the explanation may not be good enough for someone else,
who wants to delve deeper. They will ask: "But what is the explana-
tion of your explanation?" That is very much like functioning at
different levels of the hierarchy, with all the misunderstandings
that result from that.

Be prepared to encounter a lot of that here. In itself, it's not bad.
You may discover relationships that you were unaware of. Or it may
improve your immune system ;-).
