I can put the reference damn well into the heads of the 30 recruits
in a platoon and they can accomplish my reference.
Could you explain how you do this. I have some references I want to
put in the heads of some people myself.
On that general level the
old good control schema works fine - at least as I see it as a proud
trainer.
If seeing it that way is part of your means of maintaining your pride
as a trainer (which apparently a perception you do want to maintain
[control!]) then it will probably be rather disturbing to be exposed
to information about the way behavior actually works. But it looks like
you should be able to protect yourself from this information pretty
effectively.
If you admit, let's say that the perceptions are the ouputs
of a control system and we are happy all again. In a closed loop,
on the general level, it does not matter how you call the
branches!
Unfortunately, second lieutenent, to you and to many others in
your position, it probably never will matter.
