Well, my Finnish-American wife is puzzled. She asked if you would get your
Finnish friend to explain, "how does \_beach-grove\_ get to be \_power\_? Also,
what do the words, \_valta\_ and \_voima\_ mean to him?" To her j„rvi means,
\_lake\_, or in its older meaning, \_shore\_, or \_beach\_, and lehto means \_copse\_
or \_grove\_. BTW her mother's maiden name was J„rvi, and her aunt was married
to a man named, Lehto.

Hoping not to confuse the issue,

Best, Dick R.

Regards,
Rupert

Actually it was a joke. Or perhaps not.
