Rick, Bruce, Bill, et al,
When I read the B:CP book, I enjoyed it and knew that here was a clarification
of psychology equivalent to the switch from the heliocentric system. At the
Flagstaff
session I even seemed to understand what was going on. But now I am tossed
high,
dry, and clear, on an unknown beach on a strange world.
The Blom exchanges and the 'disturbances' talk, make me feel like an outsider.
I just won my PhD designation, so I am not totally ignorant. My degree is in
Psychology (plus anthropology and biology). The only ones I can follow (
to some extent), are Bill and Mary. Can they be the only coherent members
of this crew?
While it is true that I have been absorbed in completing
my dissertation I do have a rudimentary notion of what PCT is about. I
dragged out
a few Encyclopedias and checked out Control Systems. It's all engineering
and I would
have to review differential equations, etc., to understand the material.
There must be an easier way. As it is, I feel I am watching a squirrel
wheel with spinning creatures.
All I can do is trash most of the discourse--which is a shame, because I
know it is
discussing important ideas. So around half a dozen or so individuals engage
in a
private exchange. Reiteration of fundamentals would be a blessing.
So till I can find my way into the engineering mode, my emmiss will be very
limited.
