Is that all there is?

I am in my usual mode of catching up on my email when I came across your
post:

You cite me as saying "anticipation, planning etc. are examples of
imagination mode and that some think that is all there is."

What I _actually_ said was that anticipation, planning, etc. were examples
of _the program or strategy level_ operating in imagination mode. The
people I was referring to, who think (in my opinion) that that is all there
is, are those who think that what the brain is mainly for is "decision-making".

Wharever point you are making, I don't take too kindly to being misquoted in
the process. Your omission completely changes the sense of what I said.

I apologize for misquoting you. I should have use those three dots (. .
.), whatever they are called or simply included the entire sentence. But
I am not sure why I offended you. My point was simply that "anticipation,
planning etc" are considered phenomenon that PCT can handle (via the
imagination mode).

Perhaps you can explain to me why my simplification completely changed the
sense of what you said, for you have hurt me with what you have said
above.
