Thanks for the many kind words to us about the death of our friend Kirk.
Some of you may have met him at one meeting in Wisconsin in the '80's, and
at the Boston meeting of '00. Other than that he did not participate in the
doings of CSG except for one thing:
One day in 1951 or so, Kirk walked into Bill's apartment and handed him a
book, saying "I think you'll like this". The book was Wiener's Cybernetics.
Everything has followed from that.
