macroscope & body types

(From Ellery Lanier (970623932MDT)

The caveat I received (I think it was from Rick), concerning
Macroscope was correct.
de Rosnay is not just naive. He has a kind of benevolent
megalomania. I read his material on the www and found myself
yawning. But it was fun to read. Reminds me of the Tibetan Lama
who acquired a telescope and started mapping the moon.

A much better deal was offered by Gurdjieff in his book
All and Everything. At the end of that book he slipped in a reference
to a wine called (I think Cavalos) which threw his followers into a
state of confusion.

Bill's epistle today tempted me to throw in my own bias.
Having just been awarded my PhD, I am now brave enough
to joust with anyone. Of course my area is body type, also
called somatotyping. My battle cry is "Your philosophy is
defined by your anatomy".

I can just see the HPCT circuitry
coursing through the labyrinth of endoderm, mesoderm, and
ectoderm. Reminds me of the different shapes of pasta coming
through different die orifices. And all those added sauces -
I mean endocrines.
To quote the great guru Powers, "...there's no
reason to think that different people have the same detailed
neuroanatomy." Shades of Roger Williams.

More later,

Ellery Lanier, Ph.D.
