Magic

[From Dag Forssell (96061200)]

This morning I spent some time putting together recent threads on
DEFINE.TRM and DEFINE.CTL for the PCT texts disk. As I searched
the files, I stumbled on the following buried deep within a long
post by Hans. I think the quote deserves to be noted by those of
us who have not been reading every detail of recent exchanges
between Bill P. and Hans.

I will frame it and put it on my wall.

--------------------------------
[Hans Blom, 950530]:

An "unforeseen" connection? Magic? That reminds me of a saying:

Science is magic to those who do not know its rules.
Magic becomes science for those who learn its rules.

--------------------------------

In my mind, I substituted the word Behavior:

Behavior is magic to those who do not know its rules.

Behavior becomes science for those who learn its rules.
or
This magic becomes science for those who learn its rules.

The first line represents contemporary life science and religion.
The second line represents a world enlightened by PCT and HPCT.

Best, Dag

I think that the original credit for that quote is Isaac Asimov.
