Hello, All --
Woke up thinking I'd better wash the windows today because ... and Mary's haiku came to mind. She wrote it in her 20s when she was still Mary Andrews. A haiku is "an unrhymed 3-line Japanese poem of 5, 7, and 5 syllables that refers in some way to a season of the year."
Suburban Haiku
How do the women
on their ladders know it's the
last warm day this year?
No wonder I married her.
Best,
Bill P.
Thanks! I can picture it in my mind! Nice. --Bry
