principles which he suggests should be the basis of HPCT
applications.
I agree and suggest that we start a thread in which we take one
generalization at a time and develop it.
The one which I will address first is the following:

time; people are controllers. In order to stop controlling, you
would have to be able to control your controlling--so you would
still be controlling. You can't stop controlling. "
Rick, when a control system is not in the control mode, are you
saying that it is still controlling?

I seem to have cut this text out accidentally because I was experiencing
line noise problems at home. Hoever, the post from Martin that I accidentally
deleted was, as Martin notes, clearly a case of my trying to repress the
fearful possibility that there actually IS information about disturbances in
perception -- a politically incorrect notion that would just provide fodder
for the S-R establisment.
