I make quite enough mistakes without having to be concerned about
far-fetched interpretations chosen so as to make out of context statements
seem silly. There's no way I can imagine all the ways you might interpret
my words when you are determined to find a bone to pick.
Amen. There seems to be a good deal of that going on in Bill's replys to my
recent posts, too. Example: after discussing how pecking at seeds is
innate, I suggest that through classical conditioning allows the key to
become a substitute releaser for the IRM, thus the keypeck is an innate
response released by the illuminated key. Later I'm told that I said that a
keypeck is an innate response (i.e., pigeons innately peck at keys), and the
conclusion-statement of my argument is lifted out of its context and
presented as the proof.
