My paranoia is making it difficult for me to come up with any
civil reaction...
Is it "paranoia" if people are really out to get you? After all, you are
the one who did the "spadework" at the foundations of scientific
psychology;. Do you expect all those "scientific" psychologists to give
you an award for destroying their cozy little self-deception?
I think the "scientific" psychologists who come into contact with PCT
typically act just like what they are: defenders of the faith. You know
what happens to heretics, don't you? I think you should thank your lucky
stars that all that's happening to you is that you are being ignored;-)
I've found that being ignored by conventional psychologists can be quite
good for one's health. It's been over 6 months since I have heard
anything about the paper I submitted to _Psychological Methods_ and it's
been one of the nicest periods of my life;-) I'm hoping that the
reviewers will eventually conclude that the paper is "nothing new".
Better that than realizing that it is a fresh supply of spades for
working over the foundations of their termite infested discipline;-)
