PCT Guide for Women

Gary Cziko (940517):

Excellent find! Unfortunately, in our house this is advice that
I would have to follow. As a hausmensch I have primary responsibility
for most of the tips so clearly stated by the Canadians. Not only
is my time more flexible, but also I am on sabbatical this term.
By inverting the gender expressed (and implied) in this handy piece
of advice, perhaps we can see how family life has changed in some
postmodern families. What shall we do with dual worker, highly
stressed families (in which both workers get home late, exhausted,
cranky, hungry, and facing the breakfast and afterschool clutter)?
Certainly there must be helpful tips for the dysfunctional post-
modern family. Perhaps these people have lost sense of the inputs
they desire.
