That ties in with this thread. Exactly what is our message? I think we
may be starting to figure it out. Just exactly how is PCT different
from
SR theory or cognitive theory or Modern Control Theory? And how can we
say this so any person can understand what we mean? Figuring out these
differences, I now realize, is far more important than looking for
similarities, which explains why I’ve been objecting to spending time
on
old experiments. We have a revolution to go to – why stand around
talking about the past?
That was the conclusion of my “Revolution” paper, of course. But it’s
hard for me to do because it’s so much fun to argue with the fifth
columnists;-)

Good. I'm not trying to get rid of you. In fact I'm stating my preferences and am quite happy to have you pursuing yours. Who knows? You may come up with an information-theory analysis of a PCT experiment that will vindicate everything you've said. If you do, you will be entitled to one day of saying "I told you so" and we will all have to agree and say we're sorry, and ask you please to teach us how you did that.
