I have just "discovered PCT. I'd like to know a bit more about its origin in
relation to the
other "system disciplines". I have followed the development of system thinking
from the
biologist, von Bertalanffy, branching to cybernetics with F.George, Fuzzy Logic
with Lotfi Zadeh
and system dynamics with Jay Forrester.
I'm interested in what lead Bill Powers to devlop PCT. Did he start off by
working in one of the
associated systems fields and branch out?
