I think that finally I'll be able to do some PCT research after so
many years lurking on the net. I have a student whom is due to start
a research programme from next September leading to a PhD degree.
She is interested in autonomous agents, so I would be grateful for
any suggestions for a strict PCT research on the subject. I would
not like to impose any restrictions at this point, but just bear in
mind that we are a computer science department, so it would be ideal
to fit the programme within the broad realms of "Artificial
Intelligence". In other words anything goes, provided that it
involves computers and theory of computation somehow.

Your timing of your question may be a bit poor however as the CSG conference
is due to start in a couple of days. You might be well advised to repost
your request again next week.

Maybe `cooperativity' would be a possible topic. Whereas the
conventional tack would be to ask what it is for an Agent to be
cooperative, the PCT line would presumably be more like `what must
a human perceive in order to perceive an Agent as being cooperative'.
