It seems that some of the pitch posts are becoming needlessly incensed on
the issue of freq. vs. temporal coding. This is certainly a meaningful
issue but one that PCT has no stake in (i.e. neither is derivable or even
assumed) aside a suggested methodology. I consider the Powers and Marken
"What is Size" paper to have this decisive merit as to how to
experimentally determine what a given percept means. This should be in
the Living Control Systems II book.
