I think we must tread VERY carefully here.
For instance, is a tracking task a viable test for ‘anticipation’ or ‘prediction’?
That is, if I am instructed at the beginning to try and match the cursor with a randomly moving dot, what could I hope to ‘predict’ or ‘anticipate’?
Why bother? What could I hope to gain?
Second, can a result from this be generalized to anything else?
I believe this to be PCT’s major road block. IF you could test for anticipation, is this a test for anything other then a test for the anticipation one might have for a tracking task and nothing else?
Third, how do you know you are ‘measuring’ ‘anticipation’ or ‘prediction’ and not something else?
Just some questions to consider in all this.

Marc
