My laptop has suddenly developed problems with staying connected to the
Web, and its floppy drive has also given up. I can still write and receive
mail but I no longer trust anything and have to get a cheap desktop to
restore my peace of mind. All this is to explain why I'm going to be
erratic about communicating for a few days.
RE: Mary's questions about controlling behavior:
This is going to be much easier once we can all talk about system 1
controlling system 2's "qo" or "qi." The term "behavior" is just too slippery.
