I too am a clinician. Twenty years at it.
This is my first posting since I subscribed to the CSG. I read Powers book
years ago (during a time I was involved with (please don't gag) William
Glasser. I found it very interesting. Unfortunately, I loaned the book to a
University professer and he never returned it (hope he read it). (I have
abandoned Glasser.....as well as most of what I have been "taught" about
human behavior along the way). Yet I am still astounded by the human
"machine" and want to understand what makes it "tick."
From what I can decipher from the postings on this thing, Powers initial
ideas have grown considerably. I want to know more. The current postings
are hard to follow since I have been away from it for so long. So........
Are there any books (Powers initial volume too, if any one knows how I can
get another copy?) that could "catch" me up on the evolution of the theory
and application of the theory?
Anyone interested in taking a twenty year clinical neophyte under their wing?
