Does anyone have a matrix of data from a simple tracking experiment that
they would be willing to share with me? I'm currently drafting a paper
which combines ideas from some of my earlier papers, and I wanted to
include a figure which shows a graph of the results of a generic tracking
experiment. Several weeks ago Bill Powers kindly wrote for me the code for
a plain-vanilla tracking-experiment program so that I could collect my own
data, but a student who is working on porting the program to the Mac isn't
finished yet and may take awhile.
Rather than simply copying someone else's graph, I'd like to get some raw
data so that I can then run some spreadsheet simulatons with it. I'd like
data for the following variables over, say, a thirty-second run (assuming a
constant reference level):
environmental quantity (screen position of cursor)
output (handle or mouse position)
random disturbance
If data were available from a run by a human subject and then a run by a
computer model using the same disturbance, that would be even better.

I was talking to Bob Hintz recently, and he described for me your
presentation at the CSG conference last summer about the different types of
cooperative situations you've been able to model. Do you have a paper or a
chart from that presentation you could send me? I'd like to find out more
about it.
