from Lloyd
Bill, Rest in peace after a long accomplished life.
While I mourn the loss of Bill, I will ever cherish and celebrate knowledge and memories of the man, his work and the community of scholars he attracted. Bill and his work have made a profound difference in my own life and my shared life with Bobbie.

from Bobbie
The rush of rich memories associated with conferences around the world, the amazing friends and acquaintances I so looked forward to seeing year after year and, most of all, the impact Bill’s work has had on the way I think about everything. My sincerest sympathy to Bill’s family and to all of his extended family in CSG.
