Dan, I particularly liked your observation:

My beef with statistics is that they are STATIC, i.e., they provide
point in time measures. Even serial or chained measures over time
do not much improve the picture of what I see as dynamical action
and interaction - people doing things with and toward each other in
the construction of social life.

In my view, time in its various applications to PCT has not received
the attention it should. As you may know, I demonstrated some
temporal variables as a "post-script" after last year's conference.
