The good, the bad, and the ugly

[From Rick Marken (931024.2000)]

The good:

Bill Powers (931024.0600 MDT) --

By classifying the observable actions of people and the effects
those actions apparently have in the environment (and on other
people), one is not classifying the perceptions that people are
controlling, but the variable means by which they control them.

The bad:

Rick Marken (take your pick) --

The ugly:

Hal Pepinsky (921024 -- high noon) --

My basic point is empirical. Half or more of the senses of control
and disturbance I monitor among humans conform to a model other than
yours. etc...

Good luck, Mary darlin'.
