Ho Louie --

Thanks for the nice note. I know that I was _very_ lucky to have
discovered Bill Powers' work (over 25 years ago, now) and I have
cherished every intellectual and personal moment that I've been able
to share with him since we met in about 1979. It's like being one of
the only people in Renaissance Italy who gets to shoot the breeze
with Galileo. I'm glad you got to talk with Bill and I'm glad you
were able to give his ideas some well-deserved publicity.

Best

Rick

Hi, Louis --

Your post caused a lot of happiness around the group.

If you want to be part of our discussion group, either contributing or just
lurking, you have to "subscribe," after which you will automatically get
all of our conversations in your e-mailbox.

To subscribe, you send the following message (no "subject" is necessary):

subscribe CSGnet The Louie Free Show, WASN Youngstown, OH

( I think I got the call-letters right; correct if not)

Send it to this e-mail address:

listserv@postoffice.cso.uiuc.edu (no 'e' on end of "listserv")

[To unsubscribe, send the message "unsub CSGnet." (without quotes)]

I guess you found the address for sending messages to the group, but just
to put it all in one place, it's

csgnet@postoffice.cso.uiuc.edu

Sometimes the discussion is interesting, sometimes it's dull. Like real life.

I'm most pleased that you're in touch with Tom Bourbon and Ed Ford -- hope
that works out (Alice told me).

With affection,

Bill P.
