Friends,
This is an invitation to review some of the new items I have just
uploaded to my website,
www.livingcontrolsystems.com.
If you have visited my website recently, be sure to reload pages in your
browser. Otherwise, you may be looking at your hard disk cache instead of
the updater webpage.
Bill recently mentioned a new demo. Pulleys A demonstration of
control. I find it very simple to grasp and quite compelling. It is
now listed first at
http://www.livingcontrolsystems.com/demos/tutor_pct.html
Bill also recently posted a paper he wrote about a year ago. The
Reafference Principle and Control Theory. Another instance of so
close, yet so far. Scroll all the way down here

···
At Fred Nickols’ suggestion, I have added his website to Resources and his most introductory article, PCT101, to Introductions by others. My personal friend Bruce Anthony read my press release of March 31 and wrote:
I would like to discuss one sentence in your press release:
Until now, psychologists have borrowed the scientific method from
physical science without regard to the fact that living organisms control
their environment, not the other way around
Until we meet next time. This is a very good question that cuts to the core of our message. I
am working on a reply in writing that will discuss psychological theories
and scientific method, correlations and path diagrams, complacency and
acceptance by the public, consequences and my vision for the future. I’ll
keep it personal, short and sweet. Stand by.
Phil’s “Friend Carol” provided some background and suggested
that I make Phil’s doctoral thesis available. Also, I have pulled
together a thread that came about because Phil notified a very old friend
of the publication of “Living Things”. For all this, see
http://www.livingcontrolsystems.com/authors/about_runkel.html.
Coming soon: In just a few months you and lawyers will be able to read
The Death of Jeffrey Stapleton–Exploring the Way Lawyers Think by
Hugh Gibbons, you and educators Meno’s Dilemma of Enquiry and
Learning by Hugh Petrie.
More later,
Best, Dag

Dag,
I’m curiou8s about your friend, Bruce Anthony’s question. What was it?
I would like to discuss one sentence in your press release:
Until now, psychologists have borrowed the scientific method from
physical science without regard to the fact that living organisms control
their environment, not the other way around
Bruce said he wanted to discuss that sentence. To me that is a request for clarification, justification – a question.
The new demo, Track Analyze, Demo1, The Rubber Band – all of them answers the question, but my friend has not taken the time to read my 600-page book and I have not run the demos with him. So I will spell it out for all those people who want us to justify ourselves without them taking time to either read or think.
Best, Dag

Thanks Dag,
Since both statements were indented to the same extent I thought both were your friend’s comment.
Dopey me.
Best,
