Chuck, I suppose you have caught on the idea that people read only the
subject line 
I just downloaded and installed Safari for
Windows.
The ebook pdf file opens just fine.
I suppose a few other CSGnetters have opened it, though none has said so.
I cannot see how I can solve your problem. Ideas anyone?

Well, does any pdf file download?
Does it open in your browser? Can you “Save As” ?
For me, it opens nicely in Google Chrome and I can Right click and
click on Save as…Best, Dag
