A Little News from the Sidelines

Mike Thomas asked:
>Several weeks back Fred Nichols mentioned a book "Making Sense of Behavior"
>(The Meaning of Control). I can't find this book through any of my usual
>resources. Does anyone know a source that might have this title?

This book, by William T. Powers, is c 1998 by Benchmark Publications,
New Cannan, CT. It is available through amazon.com. And it is good.

How do I know? I've been a TRDEV "lurker" for some time. Fred's posts
are always informative and thought-provoking. When Fred mentioned
this book (at least once) before, I went on my own internet search,
found it, and ordered it. While I haven't read it cover-to-cover,
Powers does provide a useful model to help us understand many complex
human interactions. I especially like his discussion of conflict.
