AI and PCT

I attach a "Feature" article from the May 25 issue of Science. Does
anyone know the people concerned with the projects mentioned in the last
section of the article, which might be of interest to the Learning Group
of IAPCT? Do the people in those groups know of PCT?

I printed this out to read with some other articles and the first I read also happened to feature Gary Marcus, Self-driving cars are headed toward an AI roadblock - The Verge.

On the ScienceMag article they seem to desperately trying to find their way to PCT; "plan backward from desired outcomes, as people do. (I want my nose to stop itching; scratching it will probably help)."

I've heard of some of these people before, but haven't interacted with them personally.
