ALTERING ONE'S THEORETICAL VIEW OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR

I think one alters one's theoretical view by finding a(nother) theory
that fits the data better than the one previously held or better than
the atheoretical view that one has been taking. Naturally, a knowledge
of a theory that works will probably speed up this process. Naturally I
speak of the open-minded.

Just call me a die-hard empiricist, but not one that is atheoretical.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.
