I propose "Autonomous Systems Theory" (AST) as a possible alternative
to PCT (at least, when you are taking about the theory with the
non-PCT public -- which includes just about everyone).
I can see it now: BEHAVIOR: THE AUTONOMOUSING OF PERCEPTION.
