After lurking for a week and even after doing an AltaVista search on
"purposive behavior" I still don't really know what it's all driving at!
Where can I find some basic material that doesn't sound like it was written
by an adherant for adherants?
You might also just ask questions; maybe we could help. It would
also be nice to know why _you_ are interested in purposive behavior,
what you would like to know about purposive behavior and what you
already know about it.
Best
Rick

I'm sorry, but this net has exceeded its allowable number of subscribers named

acceptable except Bill or Rick) we will be delighted to answer your questions.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Hm. "Bruce" is a unit of measure in the citrus-growing industry. My mother
used to work in a citrus packing plant in Florida, and got some amusement
out of this. A Bruce is a crate of oranges. So maybe it's a collective term.
Etymologically, it's a thorny hedge. Might not want to tangle with one.
You're reporting the over-quota error. If you're the comparator for this
perception, "number of Bruces in CSG," what higher-level control system
sets the reference level? With what effect on its perceptual input?
Maybe it's not a quota; maybe it's a quorum. Have you checked your specs
lately?
Maybe it's not a LIFO queue; maybe it's FIFO. In that case, should I change
my name to BEN?

I would suggest doing a Websearch for Rick Marken.
You should be able to reach his demos and if you're equiped with JAVA then
