allo out there, here sits i in bruce g's office. Imagine. Talking to
someone in person, possibly collaborating, maybe even liking each other. we
haven't held hands yet, and don't suppose we will. but we get to gripe and
exchange ideas. i know there are other persons out there in close quarters.
some even at the same school--like cziko and mcphail. heck, being from
texas i would think indiana ala bruce a. is within spitting distance to
urbana, il..what about jeff vancouver..ain't you mid-west, too? what about
bi-monthly meetings..a four hour car drive. in california we have cherpas,
hank folsom, marken, forssell, likely more. in the NY/NJ area we have
abrams and nickols and petrie and goldstein. hint-hint.
oh yeah, bruce g. is a nice guy in person.

Do you have something specific in mind?, Or are you trying
to figure out who would be interested?
I think it's a good idea _if_ the meetings are purposeful.
I would think that a weekend or some two day holiday would
be best. For me driving up to Boston is no big deal but I
wouldn't do it for a one day trip. David Goldstein is in
Cherry Hill, NJ and Fred Nickols is in Princeton, NJ.
I don't know if their lack of a response is due to a lack of
interest or at least in David's behalf, yesterday might have
been a religious holiday.

I work at Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio (southeast corner).
Who is in Indiana? Urbana? Do the Urbana folks know Kleinmuntz? He is a
system dynamics guy.
