Any other suggested references to PCT-relevant research that exists in the literature would be most welcome.
Most of the IJHCS Special Issue on PCT (vol 50, 1999) might fit that requirement. I seem to remember there was an article by some stronge fellow with a name like "Marken". If you could find him, you might find a copy of the issue. Unfortunately, I seem to have mislaid my copy, but I remember articles on personality perception control by Robertson, one on the Crowd pattern phenomenon, and at the other end of the spectrum, one by Powers and Bourbon on why S-R and planning don't work too well. Something there might suit you. I've got electronic versions of some of the papers, and hard copy of others, if they would help.

I think one article that has already been mentioned, by Robertson, Goldstein et al, does fit the bill perfectly.

Yes. He's very good. But I'm looking for nice, substantive research rather than the picky little theoretical tests that Marken does.
If you could find him, you might find a copy of the issue.
Yes. He showed me a copy last night. He is a strange guy! It's his birthday tomorrow, by the way. The big six oh.

Can't help you there. Some of Keith Hendy's work might be useful, though, even if it isn't fully orthodox PCT. But it might be too complex for teaching, since it concerns real-world applications and uses concepts from other (deprecated) domains.

Ah, the enthusiasm of youth! The madness of the March Hare!
Congratulations on your approaching maturity.
