                GRONICS '97

Opportunities for students to present results of their scientific work
obtained during their studies are quite limited. GRONICS '97 is a unique
conference organized to give (Under)graduate students of the broad
discipline of information technology such opportunities. Students and
graduate students of all kinds of disciplines are invited to send an
abstract of their work in all areas of information technology.

2 pages Abstract by: October 29, 1996.
Notification of Acceptance by: November 29, 1996.
Final papers by: January 15, 1997.

Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

Basic Fundamental Research,
Genetic Algorithms, Intelligent Systems,
Formal Specification, Program Correctness,
Human Interfacing, Expert Systems,
High Performance Computing, Telematics,
Signal Processing, Image Processing,
Logic Programming, Artificial Intelligence.

Abstracts should be limited to 2 pages and should reach us no later than
October 29, 1996. If possible, the abstract should be sent in plain
ASCII by email. Otherwise the abstract could be sent by regular mail.
Final papers must be submitted by January 15, 1997. They must not
exceed 8 single-spaced pages. All accepted papers will be published in
the proceedings. The program committee reserves the right to accept a
submission as an oral or poster presentation paper.

Presentations will be limited to 20 minutes with an additional 5 minutes
for questions. There is no registration fee. The conference language is
English.
