Everyone who has an interest in the issues of childhood and adolescence is invited, in intersection with gender, ethnicity, disability, public policies, protection of rights, education, care, participation, and all the multiplicity of views that can be built regarding of the well-being and full life of children and adolescents, to send their unpublished works to be published in this dossier.
We are currently witnessing an increase in research work, at an international level, that seeks to make visible the situation of childhood and its subordination to the interests of the adult world. Although more than 30 years have passed since the consecration of their rights in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, difficulties persist for them to access education, health, to be protected, to grow up in a safe world, to recreational spaces in cities increasingly inhospitable for life, all of the above exacerbated during confinement due to the SARS-COV-2 pandemic.
The call invites to deepen in a publication, that from inter and transdisciplinary perspectives, and also from the methodological diversity as well as from the intersectional approach, addresses childhood and adolescence, the relationship with the adult world, the attention of public policies towards them and them. Discussing the place that childhood occupies in the world and in public space, their possibilities of participation as full subjects, the relationship with a type of State that sees in childhood and adolescence objects of attention and not subjects of action, are topics that require a serious and systematic approach.
The aim of this dossier is to make available to the academic, political and social organizations community, the discussion and progress in the study of those aspects that have been neglected or insufficiently addressed regarding children and adolescents -the tension with the The dominant adult-centered vision, the spaces for participation, the affective dimension, autonomy, the centrality as subjects in the definition of policies and programs that place them as a “focus of attention” -, the consideration of cultural and social differences, gender in its multiple intersections with children and adolescents, the care of children and adolescents in daily life and social co-responsibility in this, as well as the care of those who are under the protection of the State.

Convocatoria Julio 2022: Niñez y adolescencia: derechos, protección, cuidados y participación
Se invita a todas y todos quienes tengan interés en las temáticas de niñez y adolescencia, en intersección con género, etnia, discapacidad, políticas públicas, protección de derechos, educación, cuidados, participación, y toda la multiplicidad de miradas que es posible construir respecto del bienestar y vida plena de niños, niñas y adolescentes, a enviar sus trabajos inéditos para ser publicados en este dossier.
Actualmente asistimos a un incremento de los trabajos de investigación, a nivel internacional, que buscan visibilizar la situación de la infancia y su subordinación a los intereses del mundo adulto. Si bien han pasado ya más de 30 años desde la consagración de sus derechos en la Convención de los Derechos del Niño, persisten las dificultades para que ellos y ellas puedan acceder a educación, a salud, a ser protegidos/as, a crecer en un mundo seguro, a espacios de esparcimiento en ciudades cada vez más inhóspitas para la vida, todo lo anterior agudizado durante el confinamiento debido a la pandemia por SARS-COV-2.
La convocatoria invita a profundizar en una publicación, que desde perspectivas inter y transdisciplinarias, y también desde la diversidad metodológica así como desde el enfoque interseeccional, aborden la niñez y adolescencia, la relación con el mundo adulto, la atención de las políticas públicas hacia ellos y ellas. Discutir el lugar que ocupa la infancia en el mundo y en el espacio público, sus posibilidades de participación como sujetos plenos, la relación con un tipo de Estado que ve en la niñez y adolescencia objetos de atención y no a sujetos de acción, son tópicos que requieren de un abordaje serio y sistemático.
Se busca con este dossier poner a disposición de la comunidad académica, política y de las organizaciones sociales, la discusión y avances en el estudio de aquellos aspectos que han sido descuidados o insuficientemente abordados en torno a niños, niñas y adolescentes -la tensión con la visión adultocéntrica dominante, los espacios de participación, la dimensión afectiva, la autonomía, la centralidad en tanto sujetos en la definición de políticas y programas que los sitúan como “foco de atención”-, la consideración de las diferencias culturales, sociales, el género en sus múltiples entrecruzamientos con la niñez y adolescencia, los cuidados de niños, niñas y adolescentes en la cotidianidad y la corresponsabilidad social en ello, así como los cuidados de quienes están bajo la protección del Estado.
