Chemicals in the brain

I'd like to hear your views on chemical mixes in the brain.

Michelle,
Chemicals in the brain are used as both signals and modifiers of
signals. Interestingly,chemicals can be produced as a result of
emotions, which completely change our perceptions. For example, it
has been shown that negative emotions produce chemicals that focus
our conscious attention upon negative aspects of our environment to
the detriment of any positive aspects.
