Hi Tim,
Let me restate and clarify part of my post to you. When I asked if you were
"categorizing" rather then "describing" an individual, that was not my
intent. What I was trying to say is that "describing" anything by a single
aspect ( in this case either coercion or being a bully ) of that individual
is a very dangerous proposition. Tim, I don't know if you have tried the
test on yourself. But what _seems_ to be, very often is not, and what is
not, very often is. :-). it's mind boggling. It's taking reflection a step
further. It wasn't so much what I discovered about myself that I knew or
didn't know, But what was actually _accessible_ to me.
To call someone a bully or a jerk or a good person, might reflect certain
aspects of an individual at certain times. To categorize a person by one of
these aspects, to me, is not helpful but could be self defeating.
In reading my post for the 4th time, I did not like the tone and it sounded
accusatory. I apologize if that was your perception as well.
Marc
