[From Fred Nickols (01.11.2016.1610)]
Just to clarify my two earlier posts, I am not at all being critical of Rick and Tim’s book. I think it’s great. It is making me think and my comments/questions are aimed primarily at clarifying things, not posing criticism. It’s a great book and a good read.

RM: Thanks Fred! I really appreciate it (and I’m sure Tim does too!). If you get a chance it would be great if you could post a short review of it at Amazon and anywhere else you think might be appropriate (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc "?).Â

Hi Dick,
Just to clarify.
I said:

So what kind of "supervision" am I supposed to get from Dick.about
using the MOL..
Must be some miscommunication here. You haven't asked for any
supervision and
You replied:
I haven't offered any. I'm still learning to use it for myself. I'm
in no position to offer any supervision.
My initial post was in response to David Goldsteins post of (02/08/98)
in which he said
..." Before one can give the MOL a fair test, let us all make sure
that we
are doing it correctly. I wish I had Tim and Marc's confidence
(hutzpah?) and am very impressed that they have been able to acquire
the
MOL skill without supervision from Bill Powers, or Dick Robertson who
is the clinician with the most years of experience in applying PCT to
therapy situations."
It seems you and I are in agreement.

In a further effort to stop the use of left wing propaganda I provide you with a part of an article from Neal Boortz, intended for people who like tossing around the word ‘fascism’ and have no clue as to what they are talking about;
“…Let’s get back to the “fascismâ€? word. Sheldon Richman writes in “The Concise Encyclopedia of Economicsâ€? that fascist thought acknowledge(s) the roles of private property and the profit motive as legitimate incentives for productivity—provided that they did not conflict with the interests of the state.â€? In other words, state approval must be sought before important business decisions can be implemented. I think I can simplify Richman’s definition of fascism so that even Americans educated in state schools can understand: Free enterprise (capitalism) is private ownership and control of the means of production. Socialism is government ownership and control of the means of production. Fascism is private ownership of the means of production, with government control. Private ownership with government control? There’s a somewhat familiar ring to that, isn’t there?..”
So all of you who think it a good idea for government to ‘help’ control businesses, are in fact Fascists. Mussolini would have been very proud of you, and Hitler would have given you three gold stars as well. Congratulations, you are members of an elite group of egalitarians.

Marc
